STEWARDSHIP
We can all do our part to help keep our public skateparks safe to ride.
Your personal observations are a very important part of the maintenance and repair of your parks. If you see something that needs fixing, please report it directly using the City of El Paso’s 311 program.
City of EP – report using 311
The City of El Paso 311 Program is a type of citizens’ hotline. It’s a simple way for you to report problems or ask questions about your community, without tying up emergency lines, or going through frustrating municipal channels.
Report issues via telephone by dialing 3-1-1. You can also report online or even faster using the new EP 311 web app from your mobile device.
311 Call Center hours of operation are Monday-Sunday 7:00 am to 11:00 pm including holidays.
El Paso 3-1-1 will send an automatic “Service Request” to the corresponding department for their response. A tracking number is assigned to each Service Request and the public can call back to check on the status of their request.
EP County – report concerns
The County of El Paso owns and operates 7 public skateparks – 3 custom concrete builds, 4 modular ramp layouts.
Most of the ramp parks were obtained in a discount bulk buy purchase from Rhino Ramps, the self-proclaimed toughest name in skateparks worldwide, however its been our experience that all show varying degrees of disrepair.
To report maintenance issues, you’ll need to contact the El Paso County Parks and Recreation Department online or via telephone at (915) 273-3501.

EPSA repair projects
Since 2007, EPSA has rolled up its sleeves and made a few select safety-related repairs and enhancements to our concrete skateparks.
It’s been a great way to test a variety of products, best methods and share information with the City folks and other skatepark advocates.
Taking inventory
One of the very first things EPSA did was create a comprehensive inventory of City skateparks to create a baseline for money spent, issues faced and action plans – we offered solutions, not just complaints!
We did a follow up City report in 2010 and an initial County report in 2011 to help our local governments better understand safety and maintenance issues in skateparks.
